Trick or Treat or Black Hills Gold Jewelry by Coleman

CC-Oct-2014-LYou remember it don’t you? The song? Trick or treat, smell my feet, give me something good to eat! There was another verse, in my memory at least, but since it references underwear, I’ll spare you the words. I never liked the song much, maybe – because my feet smelled – but I sure did like Trick-or-treating and getting all dressed up. I remember being really sad, and maybe a little insulted, when I was considered ‘too old’ for the tradition.

Then along came the high school version of Halloween, the college version of Halloween, and most recently – the adult version of Halloween. All of which have left the little-kid version appropriately, and happily, relegated to the depths of my memory.

It’s easy to see why Halloween is listed among the favorite holidays of many. It’s perfectly appropriate – if not necessary – to dress up in some crazy costume, do silly things for silly reasons, and there’s no pressure to buy gifts! The only downside to those “more-age-appropriate” (read: older) versions of Halloween is that there are no treats. At least none that are harmless. These days it seems all Halloween goodies either stick to your hips or leave you with a terrible headache.

At Black Hills Gold Jewelry by Coleman, however, there are a plethora of treats for the little trick-or-treater in all of us. While we don’t produce pumpkins, candy, or chocolate, we do make goodies for every occasion, no matter the season. Maybe it’s a special, first piece of jewelry for your little goblin, or a birthday gift… maybe it’s a birthstone piece for Mom or a series of pieces to commemorate the special milestones in our lives like baptism or communion, confirmation or marriage… maybe it’s a piece to mark a special holiday like Valentines Day, your Anniversary, or Christmas…. Whatever the reason, Black Hills Gold Jewelry by Coleman has the gift – for yourself or a loved one – to make it special.
