The Inside of the Easter Egg

easter
Easter as a kid was all about the Bunny. A happy little hare would come hopping in overnight and leave a collection of colored eggs for the hunting. It was such a thrill to bite or break into your Easter eggs to see what the Bunny had left. If you were lucky, your egg contained jelly beans, or chocolate, or a whole dollar!

The vision of hoards of little tots racing around in their Sunday best and lugging baskets filled to overflowing with eggs is one treasured by parents the world over.

As grown-ups, Easter is a completely different experience. Adults often play the role of “Bunny” and find themselves scrambling Easter morning to stuff all kinds of goodies inside plastic eggs for their young-ones to find. But aside from the utter thrill of watching your children’s faces light up with the elation of finding something yummy inside eggs you’ve carefully hidden, and the deep spiritual meaning, there isn’t much whimsy left in Easter when you are more than 20 years old.

This year, bring back that old rush of excitement when your sweetheart breaks open an Easter egg she will never forget. One filled with Gold. Black Hills Gold Jewelry by Coleman offers a huge selection of earrings, necklaces, rings and more to send your hunny’s heart aflutter, the way an Easter egg filled with candy did when she was young. Give her an Easter gift she’ll never forget and you’ll be the Easter Bunny she’ll always remember.
